28-year-old Port Huron man loses vehicle for 7 days after racing charge

A 28-year-old Port Huron man visiting Canada has racing charges as well as a citation for driving without insurance to think about after being stopped last Thursday (April 25) by Lambton OPP.

The man, driving a GMC pickup, was stopped on eastbound 402 near Christina St. A clocked speed of 120 km/h (50 over the 70 km/h posted limit) was enough to warrant the charge, which resulted in seizure of the vehicle and loss of driving privileges for seven days.

A court date of June 14 has been set.
