We’re approaching the midpoint of August. That means there’s only a few weekends left to have some summer fun before the kids go back to school and the trees start changing colour. If you’re not sure what to do, try not to stress, the Lambton Shield is here to help. Here’s a list of five things to do in Sarnia-Lambton this weekend.
Visit Watford Cornfest — All Weekend
The 35th annual Watford Cornfest takes over the village this weekend from Friday to Sunday. This year, hot, buttered corn on the cob is free– a slight decrease from the regular quarter-dollar-per-cob price tag. Friday night will feature the new Cornfest Carnival for children and Saturday, inflatables will be offering free fun throughout the afternoon. Sunday will host live entertainment and more corn. There are sports and card tournaments all weekend long. Head out to Watford and join in the fun!
