Search warrant leads to drug charges

Four adults, two young offenders apprehended

Sarnia Police say four adults and two young offenders face charges of trafficking a control substance after a search warrant was executed Wedneday at a residence in the 400 block of Devine Street.

In the incident, officers entered the residence shortly before 10 p.m.. During the search, police were said to have found various forms of drug paraphernalia along with a quantity of methamphetamine valued at over $1,800 and over $1,700 in cash.  Also located was a quantity of marijuana.

One of the adults is a 38-year-old man wanted on an outstanding warrant.  A 30-year-old male and a 25-year-old female face other charges of breaching various conditions.  The last adult, a 24-year-old man, is just facing the drug trafficking charges.

All six parties were being held for a bail hearing on Thursday morning.
