The Weather Network is calling for a few showers this weekend, but don’t let that dampen your fun. Here are five great things to do this weekend in Sarnia-Lambton.

Dog Festival

Even dog’s need their day in the sun! Head out to Sarnia’ First Ever Dog Festival this Saturday, June 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Fox and Hound Canine Retreat ( 2437 Michigan Line). The event includes Canine Watersports Canada, Amateur Dock Diving Pool, Ultimutts Trick show, agility demonstrations, ask the vet and so much more. There will be over 30 dog related vendors as well as an off leash area for dogs. Gates open at 10 a.m.. Admission is $10.00 for adults and free for kids and dogs. 2018 Assante Dirty Dash for Sarnia-Lambton Rebound

This Saturday, June 12, Assante Wealth Management presents the 4th Annual Dirty Dash for Sarnia-Lambton Rebound. The 5 k.m mud run is held at Canatara Park. Registration has closed for this event but it is sure to be a great fundraiser. Support your friends and coworkers by heading out an watching them get dirty! Kids Fun Fest

This Saturday, June 9 from 9 a.m.m to 2 p.m., head out to Clearwater Park at 1400 Wellington St for a day of fun for the whole family. What better way to celebrate with your children than at the 23rd annual Kids Funfest! Inflatables, face painting, pony rides, animal shows, life-size board games, storytelling, and so much more! Low Country Hill

This Saturday, June 9 from 10 p.m. t0 12 p.m., head out to Refined Fool Brewing Co.at 137 Davis Street for a night of live music with singer songwriter Paul Hogeterp aka. Low Country Hill. The event is free.


This Saturday, June 9 at 7:30 p.m., enjoy a concert of choral music to ‘uplift and inspire’ at Grace United Church at 990 Cathcart Blvd. The event features the Bluewater Chamber Choir and Wavesong Vocal ensemble and the Georgian Singers.
