Alvinston Flyers sink the Lakers in Wallaceburg

The Alvinston Flyers spotted Wallaceburg a 4-1 lead less than 15 minutes into the game last night, before roaring back for a 7-5 victory over the Lakers in Great Lakes Junior “C” Hockey League action in Wallaceburg.

Nick Atkinson had the game-winner midway through the third period, before Joe Archer iced the win with an empty net marker in the waning seconds of the game.
Brent Dalton, Cody Curts and Archer each had a goal and two assists for the Flyers, whose records now stands at 5-2.
Tyson Isaac had two goals and an assist for the Lakers, who see their record dip to 2-5-1.
Alvinston will host Blenheim tomorrow night (Friday, Oct. 14) at 7:30 pm.
