Join the staff of the Judith & Norman Alix Art Gallery for a new program inviting youth with special needs, and special interest in fine arts, to explore art mediums through self-expression this Thursday, March 29 from 5:00-5:45 PM. The program creates an opportunity for participants to develop new artistic skills and take part in a positive recreational experience within an art gallery setting. Ages 9-16.
This session is all about being bold! Participants will be using brayers, printing ink, and leaves to create hand-printed monoprints. Early arrival welcome at 4:30 PM.
Art Pod sessions are $25 for Non-Members with materials included. Registration is required and spaces are limited. Call 519-336-8127 ext. 3226 to register.
Requirements: Caretaker or respite worker is required to provide support during the Art Pod workshop. Participants should be able to follow one-step directions.
