It was a busy two days for Andrew Scheer, the Conservative who serves as leader of the Official Opposition in Ottawa.
Having visited London early on Wednesday, Scheer joined MP Marilyn Gladu in attending the Commerce Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Business After 5 networking event at the Sarnia Riding Club.
Earlier Wednesday, he connected with a Youth Council that Gladu hosts at her Sarnia constituency office.
At the Riding Club, Scheer spoke briefly to the gathered business people who appeared to largely be in support of what he had to say, a pro-business message that he hopes will propel him into the role of Prime Minister come 2019.
