County Library system embarks on unique photo contest for teens

Along with "putting your nose in a book," Lambton County Library is encouraging teens to put their face next to one with "Book Face," a photo competition for teens.  "Book Face" is where two faces meet as one…the face on a book and the face of a real person to give the illusion of a seamless fit.

Teens, ages 12-18, can email a jpeg of their photos to  Participants can enter several photos, each of a different book title.  A photo release form, available at any branch library, must accompany a submission with all the book titles listed on it.

The contest closes October 20, 2012.  One first prize winner will receive a $100 Lambton Mall gift card, while the second and third place winners as well as a winner for the most original photo, will each receive a $50 Lambton Mall gift card.  Prizes will be announced by October 26.
