County taxpayers are looking at a potential increase of 2.52% increase in taxes for 2015 after a budget presentation made today (Wednesday, Feb. 18) to County Council.
Today’s meeting, which lasted about 45 minutes, was simply to present the proposed budget, which was done by County CFO John Innes.
The numbers do not include the impact of any grant requests, a process that will take place on March 4. Council will then deliberate the budget at a meeting on March 18.
An archived video of the entire budget meeting is available through the County’s website (www.lambtononline.ca).
