The family of Jean Croxall is sad to announce her peaceful passing at her home on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the age of 84. Jean was born and raised in Sarnia and she met and married Ross in 1951. Beloved wife to Ross Croxall for 67 years. She was the beloved mother of Doug Croxall (Ada) of Waterloo. Bren Somers-Hughes (Mike) of Corunna and Lorrie Mason (Steve) of Ravenswood. Proud Grandmother to Jamie Somers (Karly) of Sarnia, Brooke Allen (Wesley) of Brights Grove, Leah Smith (Duncan) of Plympton-Wyoming, Tara Mason of Forest, Jesse Mason (Megan) of Forest and Ryan Hughes of Corunna and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill (Jackie) Pruliere of Sarnia. Predeceased by Sgt. Michel Pruliere in 1955 and Della Pruliere (Thibodeau) in 1989. Cherished sister-in-law to Dorothy Arksey of Windsor. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Throughout her life, she enjoyed bowling, bingo, and volunteering. Jean served many charities including Jr. Sting Hockey, Heart and Stroke, Head Injuries, Sunshine Foundation, just to name a few. She worked at A&P for many years and was a member of High Park United Church. Jean’s hobbies included cooking, crocheting and euchre. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 1576 London Line, Sarnia on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with two hours of visitation prior.
