DAWKINS, Norma Jean – In loving memory of Norma Jean Dawkins. It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of their mom Norma Jean Dawkins, who died peacefully at Bluewater Health at the age of 84 surrounded by loving family. Beloved wife of the late William Charles Dawkins (1994). Beloved sister of the late Ron Stevenson. Loving mother of Christine Welch (Ron) of Courtenay, British Columbia, David Dawkins (deceased), Katherine Mayers (Garry) of Grand Bend, Ontario, Richard Dawkins (Cheryl) of Spring Lake, Alberta, and Virginia Fleury (Glenn) of Port Huron, Michigan. Cherished grandmother of Donna McGowan (Ken), Doug Walton (Annie), Tanya Mayers (Steve), Billie Jo Mayers (Chris), Stacey Mayers (Brad), Michael Mayers (Christine), Prianka Fleury (deceased), D. J. Fleury (Tiffany) and Alex Fleury. She will also be missed by her great grandchildren: Shannon, Elyse, Kristi, Kyle, Kenzie, Cole, Jessica, Jace, Kyle, Alisha, Jaden, Cody and Mikah and by great great grandchildren Jayden and Kaeyden. “We will always remember Mom for the special relationships she had with each family member, for teaching us the values in life and the importance of unconditional love. When facing life's challenges we will ask the question “What would mom do?“ The family would like to give a special thank-you to the I.C.U. staff at Bluewater Health, and to Norma's friends and the staff of Rosewood Manor. Family have asked that Norma's life be honored through the giving of donations to the AIDS Society and when seeing a butterfly in passing to pause and remember the special gift of Norma's life.
