She’s a Dragon. She’s a Media Maven. She’s all about Persuasion.
Arlene Dickinson is one of North America’s leading entrepreneurs and she’s coming to Sarnia on November 6 as the keynote speaker for the Sarnia-Lambton Business Week.
Dickinson’s rise from an unskilled, single mother of four desperate to support her family to the CEO of one of Canada’s leading marketing firms, Venture Communications, is nothing short of inspiring. Best known as a panelist on CBC’s hit Television show, Dragon’s Den as well as the new program – ‘The Big Decision’, the list of Ms. Dickinson’s accolades is lengthy and impressive.
She’s one of Profit’s top 100 Women Entrepreneurs for seven years running, and her company, Venture Communications is regularly noted as one of the 50 Best Managed Companies in Canada. She’s also an accomplished author with the release of ‘Persuasion’.
