Driver alleged to be more than 3x legal limit

Sarnia Police say a 26-year-old city man was arrested Saturday night after the vehicle he was driving struck a parked car on Campbell Street near Kirby Street.

When police arrived on the scene shortly after the 7:30 p.m. incident, the driver identified himself and subsequently was administered a test for alcohol consumption. He is alleged to have registered at three times the legal limit.

At least one of the vehicles involved in the mishap was extensively damaged.

The man, who was issued a suspension for driving, faces charges of impaired driving.
