Enbridge employees holding car show to benefit United Way

First-ever 'E=United Way Car Show' event has $10 per vehicle entrance fee, with Enbridge matching funds raised for campaign

Matt Miller of Enbridge Pipelines is one of the organizers of the inaugural "E-United Way Car Show," scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at the company's Modeland Road offices (also home to the University of Western Ontario Research Park).

Matt Miller, a mechanic at Enbridge Pipelines operations in Sarnia, will be showing two vehicles on Saturday, September 17 at an event he hopes will be “wildly popular” in attracting car enthusiasts and supporters of the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton.

Miller’s own vehicle, a 1969 Camaro, will be shown along with that of his father, Pete Miller, an Enbridge retiree who will have his 1967 Corvette Stingray on display.

The event will take place at Enbridge’s parking lot at 1086 Modeland Road, which is also home to the University of Western Ontario Research Park.

All proceeds from the event, including the $10 per vehicle registration fee, will be matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis by Enbridge.

To pre-register for the 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. event, contact Matt Miller by e-mail (matt.miller@enbridge.com) or call (519) 490-4893.

Miller says there will be pre-registration prizes, a silent auction, door prizes, a 50/50 draw as well as food available.
