Sarnia Police are looking for the public's help in locating a dark coloured backpack they say may have been discarded by James Province, accused of the first degree murder of his 50-year-old estranged wife on Friday morning.

Joanne Underhill, who was 50, was the first murder of the year for the city.

Province, who lives on Ross Avenue in Sarnia, is in custody. He will appear in Sarnia court on Sept. 10.

Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Staff Sgt. Scott MacLean at (519) 344-8861, extension 6077.
