Canadian Foodgrains Bank- Projects in Ethiopia. On Nov. 25, at 6:00pm, Grace and Brigden United Churches will co-sponsor a presentation for the Canadian Foodgrains Bank (CFGB) at Grace United Church, 990 Cathcart Blvd. Sarnia, ON N7S 2H2. Grace and Brigden have partnered on grow projects for a number of years. Colleen Witt, a Resource teacher from Confederation Central School, had the honour and privilege of being one of ten teachers to participate in the Canadian Foodgrains Bank, first ever, “Teacher’s Tour” in Ethiopia this past July. Colleen is excited to share what she learned and saw; the hard work and accomplishments that are taking place in Ethiopia as a direct result of the caring, contributions and efforts of individuals here in Canada. A social time will be available after the presentation. A free-will offering will be available to support the work of the CFGB.
