Stand up to poverty

annual stand up against poverty rally to be held on the steps of City Hall in Sarnia on Friday, October 14th during the lunch hour.

Many of Sarnia-Lambton program services that are available to those living in poverty in our county will be featured as well as a Circles participant who lifted herself out of poverty.

Once again the Chew On This paper bags with apples, and a card outlining the realities of poverty in Canada will be shared at the rally as well as on Monday, October 17th, the International Day of the Eradication of Poverty, at Lambton College.
