Farm Credit Canada donates $1,000 to Queen Elizabeth II school

Donation part of Canada-wide effort totalling $100k

Farm Credit Canada has donated $1,000 to the Queen Elizabeth II school nutrition program as part of the organization’s national commitment to giving a total of $100,000 in support of programs throughout Canada.

The local donation was presented on Wednesday (Sept. 6) at the school, located at 60 Aberdeen Ave. in Sarnia.

Since 2004, Farm Credit Canada’s Drive Away Hunger initiative has seen more than 33 million meals collected for Canadian food banks.
