Five charged with various drug infractions after OPP search in Forest

Lambton OPP say they have arrested and charged five individuals from the County area with various drug charges after a drug search at a residence on Albert Street in Forest that was conducted last Friday (October 17).

During the search, an undisclosed amount of suspected methamphetamine, suspected oxycontin, drug paraphernalia and Canadian currency were seized.  The estimated street value of the seized drugs is $600.

A 19-year-old Forest man, a 21-year-old Lambton Shores man and a 39-year-old Forest woman each face one charge of possession for the purpose of trafficking.

A 44-year-old Warwick Township woman has been charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and a 49-year-old man from Arkona has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.

All five individuals will appear in a Sarnia Court on December 17, 2014 to answer to the charges.
