SCITS viewing and Time Capsule Opening

Head over to SCITS (Great Lakes Secondary School) at 275 Wellington Street for a Time Capsule reveal. The opening will take place this Saturday, April 28th from 11-12 and the contents will be on display outside of the office. There will be a BBQ that day run by the physical education department as well as an opportunity for alumni to visit the school. The event is hosted by The Sarnia Historical Society and will run from 11-4 p.m. For more information please visit the event page HERE.

Fast Forward Exhibition Opening

Join the Gallery in the Grove for the opening of the Senior Lambton County Secondary Students exhibit this Sunday, April 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Artwork from senior students a well as members of he Grade 6 VALS program will be on display. Ducks Unlimited Fundraising Dinner & Auction

Join Ducks Unlimited Canada for their annual fundraising dinner and auction at the Holiday Inn. The volunteer organization works toward connecting people to nature by preserving wetland across Ontario. Tickets are on sale HERE for $55.00 a person or by calling Steve Bujaki at 519-466-0092.

Michael Baclay, Author of The Never-Ending Present at The Book Keeper

Michael Barclay, author of The Never-Ending Present: The Story of Gord Downie and The Tragically Hip will be at The Book Keeper talking about his book and signing copies. This is the first print biography of the Tragically Hip. The author interviewed countless peers of the band and recounts their cultural influence in Canada. Rockin the Basin with Blues
