A group of local organizations, including the Rotaract Cub of Sarnia Lambton, Lambton Elderly Outreach, and Age-Friendly Sarnia have organized the inaugural year for an Adopt-A-Driveway program in the community.

Now the group, which is spearheaded by Rotaract, a subset of Rotary International made up of members from 18-30 years of age, has selected some 20 homes throughout Sarnia-Lambton.

The next step is assembling volunteers, including community groups, to assist with shovelling and salting driveways from December until April.
