Katherine McNabb, Dawson Currie and Lily Cardiff (pictured, left to right) are ready to audition for Lambton Young Theatre Players’ production of Arabian Nights!

ARABIAN NIGHTS! will be the sixth main stage presentation for the Lambton Young Theatre Players, and is part of a performance training program under the direction of theatre professionals.

“I’m already dreaming of genies,” says Keys, the theatre group’s artistic director. “The kids are going to have a lot of fun with this one. ARABIAN NIGHTS! is a gentler, kinder, but hugely entertaining re-telling of some of the best loved stories from The Thousand and One Nights. There’s a lot of action and comedy in the script along with some very colourful characters caught in ridiculous situations. I’ve had a great time writing this, and I know the kids are going to have a blast rehearsing and performing it.”

Young actors and actresses between the ages of 10 and 18 years are invited to audition. No previous experience is necessary, and auditions are private. If cast in ARABIAN NIGHTS!, a registration fee of $150 is required.
