Huron House has another successful Father’s Day event

Hundreds of participants take part in a variety of fundraising options

For participants in last Sunday’s Father’s Day event in support of Huron House Boys’ Home, it was clear skies and ideal weather.

While the organization has not yet released its final numbers, officials were pleased with an upsurge in registrations, the result of new two new races—20 km and 40 km bike events.

In the past, the day raised about $20,000 for the Huron House Boys’ Home.

There was also a 10-km run and five-km fun run, both timed events, as well as a five-km walk, a seven km bike ride and categories for roller blades.

The day also included various family events.
