Inn of Good Shepherd still looking for those willing to help with ‘Adopt a Family’ initiative

So far only 215 of 325 families have been matched with a sponsor

The Inn of the Good Shepherd, through one of its annual initiatives, is appealing to the community to consider participating in this year’s “Adopt a Family Program.”

Currently only 215 of the 325 families that have been identified as needing help this Christmas season have been matched, according to Adelle Richards, operations manager at the Inn.

“We are encouraging those who want to spread the love, hope and light this Christmas to touch base,” said Richards. “Get your kids involved and show them what the gift of giving feels like.”

Another opportunity would be to organize a group of co=workers, church groups or sports teams.

“Either way, please find it in your heart to make a difference,” added Richards, who adds that tax receipts will be issued for those donating.

Those interested can either call Richards directly—(519) 344-1746, ext. 342—or by email (click HERE).
