Lambton College culinary fundraiser set for this Saturday

Wine and spirit connoisseurs and beer enthusiasts will get to experience products from local wineries, breweries and distillers paired with creative culinary creations from the Lambton College Hospitality and Tourism Management, Cook Apprenticeship and Culinary Management students on Saturday, October 20 from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  This signature event “Corks, Caps & Cuisine 2012” hosted by The Lambton College Foundation will be held in the Lambton INN Conference Centre and will feature an exciting theme sure to entertain.

Some 18 vendors will be in attendance, many of whom are joining Corks for the first time, and will showcase approximately 45 products.   Attendees will “educate their taste buds” by sampling complimentary pairings of fine cuisine with a wide variety of wine, beer, spirits and a specially prepared selection of non-alcoholic drinks.

The Lambton INN Conference Centre is located at 1485 London Road, Sarnia.  Tickets for the event are $50 per person and can be purchased by calling 519-542-7751 ext 3315.  With only 300 tickets available, interested guests are encouraged to get their tickets before they are gone. 

Proceeds from Corks, Caps & Cuisine 2012 will benefit Lambton College students through internal bursaries and scholarships.  This event provides a great opportunity for the public to experience and support the very significant and positive impact The Lambton College Foundation and Lambton College students have on the community.
