Lambton College facility is getting a rebranding

Former BTAC is now Lambton Manufacturing Innovation Centre

Lambton College’s Bluewater Technology Access Centre (BTAC), now in its seventh of operation is rebranding its operation to Lambton Manufacturing Innovation Centre.

Officials say the new name was selected to better identify the focus of the facility, which receives project funding through the Federal Government’s Natural Sciences and Engineering and Research Council.

The newly branded Lambton Manufacturing Innovation Centre is the home of Advanced Manufacturing Innovation at Lambton College with a focus on product and process development and/or improvement for manufacturing purposes through innovative technical services, applied research projects and specialized training services.

In addition to the name, the LMIC also has a new logo, a sub-brand of Lambton College’s recently designed Research & Innovation departments.

The Lambton Manufacturing Innovation Centre also has a new website—www.lmic.ca—to better showcase our capacity to support SMEs through applied research, technical services and specialized training.
