Lambton College is holding first ‘Return to Learn’ session of the school year

Drop-in style event will take place on Wednesday, October 10 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Your future is waiting at Lambton College – and you might be able to enroll as early as January 2019.

On Wednesday, October 10, Lambton College will be hosting its first Return to Learn session of the school year. This drop-in style event is open to anyone who is considering a Lambton College program for January, May, or September 2019.

The event will run from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and guests will have the opportunity to chat with representatives from a variety of campus services and consult with Enrolment Advisors about college programs, the application process, and any other topics related to attending Lambton College.

Some highlights of the event that might be of interest to attendees include:

• Apply to Lambton College on-the-spot. Applications are now open for both January and September 2019 programs. The Ontario College Application System (OCAS) will officially be accepting applications and the Enrolment team will be available to assist all guests with the application process during the event. As an added incentive, Lambton College will pay the $95 application fee for any students who apply during the event.

• Learn more about Financial Aid and recent changes to the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), which was recently updated to ensure that non-repayable grant funding exceeds tuition fees and also allows adult learners to qualify for more grants so they can go back to school to upgrade their skills.

• Representatives from Lambton College’s Academic Upgrading department will be available to assist students who might be missing college prerequisites. Academic Upgrading is a free service that allows students to upgrade their academic skills in order to meet college program admission requirements.
