Lambton Shield magazine is now ‘on the street’

Publication—with a 'Women in Business' theme—is our fifth print issue

The fifth print issue of Lambton Shield magazine is now “on the street” with a series of feature articles on some of the area’s most prominent (or soon to be) women entrepreneurs.

On our cover is Jenny Gough, a chemical engineer and owner of Pollutech EnviroQuatics, with photography courtesy of Lisa Cattran Photography.

A “flipbook version” of the magazine can be seen by clicking HERE.

Other features include:

—Marie Marcy-Smids, a long-serving fund development professional who is bringing her magic touch to the Alzheimer’s Society of Sarnia-Lambton, her daughter Meghie Smids, another engineer (we need more women in this profession!);

—Christine Yurchuk of Lilith Boutique;

—Kathleen Mundy of Little Caesars;

—Katherine Walker of Industrial Web Apps and IMAP;

—Lisa Isaac of Lisa Isaac HR Professional Services;

—Christine Feige of ActivEars; and

—Shannon Rake of Lambton Kia;

“This ongoing project has been a real joy to undertake,” said Editor J.D.Booth, “Bringing these stories to life is what we’ve set out do with Lambton Shield magazine and the strong support we have had from the community is something that we were hoping for. And we’re just getting started!”
