Lawrence House bringing Canadian pianist to its next Afternoon Concert

 van pelt photoLawrence House Centre for the Arts is bringing Canadian pianist Andrea Van Pelt as the feature performer for the Jan. 25 "Afternoon Concert".

The concert, which is held one Friday each month from September through April, will be at the Sarnia Library Theatre at 2 p.m.

Van Pelt, a fourth year piano performance student at the University of Toronto, has been the recipient of the Barwell Organ Scholarship, and has won the Michael Geryk Memorial Competition among numerous other scholarships, trophies and awards.

Tickets are $15 for a single ticket with Lawrence House members paying $13. A season pass for the series is $100.

Following the concert, light refreshments are served, free of charge, and patrons have the opportunity to meet the performing artist.  Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Lawrence House or at the door at the Sarnia Library Theatre.
