Lesson learned the hard way: don’t drink and drive

Two more instances of drinking and driving are reported by Lambton OPP, who say stops on Saturday, Dec. 17 resulted in charges of being over the legal limited.

In the first instance, which occurred in St. Clair Township around 3:30 a.m., a 21-year-old St. Clair Township man was stopped on Ladysmith Road. Police determined he had been drinking and laid charges. He will appear in a Sarnia court on Jan. 9, 2012.

A second incident, at the same time but in Forest, resulted in an 18-year-old male from Forest being charged with being over the legal limit. He also faces charges of possession of a controlled substance (cannabis resin). The driver will appear in Sarnia court on Jan. 16, 2012.
