For several thousand music lovers, the excitement that is Bluewater Borderfest begins tonight (Thursday) in Centennial Park, the renewed facility that may bring back memories of Bayfest, a past festival that ended its run after several years of success.
For Bluewater Borderfest, now in its second year, the event is a three day “combination” of country, classic rock, and rock acts.
On Thursday, the stage set up in Centennial Park will include Drake White and the Big Fire, Drew Jacobs, and the Cory James Mitchell Band.
Friday’s entertainment features the Guess Who, and Honeymoon Suite.
On Saturday, ticket holders will experience Dear Rouge, the Arkells, and Matt Mays. Opening acts will include Rodney James and the Riot, and Dave Russell and the Precious Stones.
Mark Perrin, who heads the Bluewater Borderfest organization, says all the elements are in place for a great weekend of music.
