Lambton County's library system has a new website that officials say offers a fresh, clean look with better navigation.
The main page of the site, which was developed by Sarnia-based StoryBoard Solutions, features four slider panels that easily move to reveal information in four categories:
Branches – Find information and programming for Lambton County Library's 26 branches, the Bookmobile schedule and Sarnia Library Theatre.
My Library – Log into your library account, find information about library services such as borrowing Kill-a-watt meters, book club kits, pedometers, wireless Internet and more.
eLibrary – Access over 100 different eResources, check out eBooks and eAudiobooks at eDownload Library, reserve computer time at your library, use Ask a Librarian and askON to get real-time one-on-one assistance.
Programs – See the programs offered at all libraries with this online calendar, or select an individual library. Programs are free unless otherwise noted.
Children will want to check out the Kids Lynx pages, cheerfully animated with the library's new "lynx" mascot. The Teen page craftily uses the entries from November's Book Face contest. Both sections feature resources, booklists and interesting tidbits.
Lambton County Library offers a variety of free materials and services to meet the leisure and informational needs of the community through its 26 branches, bookmobile and website. eReader lending, multi-media resources, online services, programs and Internet access are all available.
