A half-century after the founding of Lyndon Security, officials from the local company are marking the occasion with a gift of $10,000 to St. Joseph’s Hospice.

A special cheque presentation was held Wednesday at the company’s Christina St. headquarters.

“On behalf of St. Joseph’s Hospice, we extend our sincerest congratulations to Lyndon Security Services Inc. for celebrating 50 glorious years of success and achievements,” said Larry Lafranier, St. Joseph’s executive director. “They have always been on the top of our list for serving and supporting many of our community’s local organizations, charities, and initiatives. Since our inception in 2005, Lyndon Security has been an important patron of the St. Joseph’s Hospice.”

Lyndon Security donated $50 on behalf of each of its Lambton County employees to the St. Joseph’s Hospice, which amounts to $10,000.

“On behalf of the entire Lyndon team, we are extremely pleased to make this donation to such a valued and critical community service that provides compassion and support to families during times of great need.” noted Lyndon Managing partner David Hehn.
