Maczko, Dolores, (March 17, 2018)

It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Dolores Maczko announces her peaceful passing on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the age of 65. Beloved and cherished wife and best friend of Ken Maczko. Dear sister of Joan (Robert) Kerwin, Willena Redden, Janice (Lyle) Acton, Stephen (Chris) Pilkey and Dean (Caroline) Pilkey, and sister-in-law of Jamie (Kathy) Maczko, Ron Kurki and Ray Piche. Treasured aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ralph and Florence Pilkey, her sisters Gloria Pilkey and Leslie Kurki, brother Terry Pilkey, parents-in-law Jim and Betty Maczko, sister-in-law Bettyann Turner-Piche and brother-in-law John Turner. Dolores spent her entire 38 year career at Scotiabank, and will be remembered as a dedicated and well respected colleague. She loved travelling, especially going to Las Vegas. Dolores loved all kinds of games and cards, as well as attending live performances. She loved her cats, but her family was her life. Dolores will be remembered as an amazing aunt and great-aunt, and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. A heartfelt thank you to all of the special people who cared for Dolores during her illness. We are grateful for your unending support.
