Making a difference is in the hearts of young people from St. Pat’s

Today was the day for Irish Miracle, a door-to-door canvassing for non-perishable food items

Not long after the door knocking began on Saturday morning, we caught up with a group of youngsters from St. Patrick’s Catholic High School as they were doing their rounds in Bright’s Grove.

At the end of the day, according to St. Patrick’s Joseph Palko, “We had a little over 8,000 bags of food collected (approximately the same as last year) along with $4,100 donated (one donor gave $3,000).”
