Man barred from seeing mother he terrorized is back in jail

Just two days after a 40-year-old Sarnia man was released after spending 81 days in jail on charges of terrorizing his 62-year-old mother this past January, he is back in custody after violating terms of a probation from July 2012—not to associate with or communicate with his mother.

The man was released on Friday (April 5) after pleading to the January charges. On Sunday (April 7) Sarnia Police were called to the mother's residence on Durand Street, where they found the man hiding in the bathroom.

Police arrested the accused, who now faces three charges of breach of probation.
