The annual Maple Syrup Festival—scheduled for March 16-17 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.—is an opportunity for visitors to the Conservation Area to learn how First Nation, pioneer and modern methods have used the "sweet sap" to create maple syrup and other products.
Admission to the A.W. Campbell Conservation area is $2 per car. The facility is on Shiloh Line, three kilometres northeast of Alvinston, off County Road 79.
The Alvinston Firemen’s Association will be holding its traditional pancake and sausage meals at the Alvinston Community Centre.
