The Mooretown Jr. Flags Bantam Rep hockey team raised over $200 for the United Way of Sarnia-Lambton at their final game of the regular season.

Charlie Brander challenged his teammates to a Christmas Charity Sweater Challenge with proceeds to United Way, with each player and coach participating in the promotion.

This year’s United Way campaign continues to the end of 2019.

United Way funded programs target Lambton County’s most vulnerable in the areas of healthy, resilient, successful kids; empowering and strengthening self-sustaining families; and healthy, safe and independent seniors.
