MP hosting ‘town hall’ sessions on issue of electoral reform

Series of meetings will take place beginning today and running through September 8

Sarnia-Lambton Member of Parliament Marilyn Gladu is hosting several “town hall” style meetings on the issue of electoral reform beginning today.

The first of several input sessions will be held today at the Royal Canadian Legion at 493 Erie Street in Wyoming. The town hall is scheduled to run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

A second town hall will take place on Thursday, September 1 at the Mooretown Sports Complex, 1166 Emily Street, Mooretown Hall 1, also from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Gladu will also join members of the public in Petrolia on Tuesday, September 6 at the Royal Canadian Legion, 4129 Glenview Rd., from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, September 7, Gladu will host the public at the Camlachie Community Centre, 6767 Camlachie Rd., from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The final town hall meeting will take place in Sarnia at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 62 on Thursday, September 8, also from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Organizers are asking that attendees show “proof of address” due to the limited capacity at various locations.
