Senior citizens of Sarnia Lambton are encouraged to attend next week’s 16th Annual Seniors Information Fair!
The fair will be taking place at the Point Edward Arena on Monk Street from 10:00 a.m until 4:00 p.m on Tuesday (May 5) and 10:00 a.m until 3:00 p.m the following day.
Admission to the event is completely free as is onsite parking or a shuttle provided by the Point Edward Casino. Donations of nonperishable food items for the Inn of the Good Shepherd are encouraged.
The event will feature 80 exhibitors and vendors from service agencies and local businesses all over Lambton County. They will offer a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics for all those who attend.
The fair is put on each year by the Lambton Seniors Association, a non-profit, registered charity funded through the United Way as well as fundraising, donations, grants and membership fees for programs such as the Handyman/Handywoman Program.
Their mission is to help strengthen the ability of seniors in Lambton County to participate actively and directly in issues that affect their quality of life.
The event will offer plenty of entertainment for those who attend including tons of door prizes to win and lunch provided by Sarnia Lions Club Women’s Institute.
