Noel, Graham, (April 29, 2015)

lib_resizer-1Graham Noel of Sarnia, Ontario passed away after a very lengthy illness on Wednesday April 29th 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, at the age of 81. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Alice (nee Button). He is sadly missed by his three children; David Graham, Alison Faith (Dennis Medaglia), and Barbara-Joan Noel; his 5 grandchildren, Meagan Noel, Matthew and Kimberly Medaglia, Rebecca (Becky) Noel and Nathan Irwin; as well as his brother and sister-in-law Ronald Arthur and Patricia Ester of Mansonville , Quebec and his sister-in-law Joan McArthur, of West Vancouver B.C. After spending 52 years in Verdun and Candiac, Quebec where he enjoyed the fellowship of curling in St. Lambert, Graham and Barbara then moved to Ontario, firstly to London, then Southampton and finally Sarnia. The family fondly remembers camping holidays in Vermont and in upper New York State. Graham and Barbara spent many happy winters bird watching and walking the beach in South Texas. Graham was a proud, quick witted and happy person who loved gardening and who willingly volunteered in many capacities. Cremation has taken place. Friends and neighbours are invited to a Celebration of Graham’s Life at McCORMACK FUNERAL HOME – STEWART CHAPEL, 254 George Street (at College Avenue); on Sunday May 3rd from 2 – 4 pm.
