Northgate Pharmacy robbed on Tuesday afternoon

Cash and boxes of Fentanyl stolen, say Police

Sarnia Police say Northgate Pharmacy was robbed yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon at about 3:50 p.m. with cash and between 15 and 20 boxes of Fentanyl stolen during the incident.

A news release described the suspect, who has not yet been identified, as a light-skinned male with thin build and appearing to be between 5-foot 6-inches and 5-foot 10-inches in height.

He was wearing a black hooded zipup sweater marked with a white skeleton on the outside and dark pants and blue shoes.

Police say the suspect exited the store and fled the scene in a smaller dark pick-up, travelling towards Capel Street. Police later recovered the vehicle in the 900 block of Colborne Road.
