OPP investigating armed robbery of Warwick convenience store

Lambton OPP say they are continuing to investigate the armed robbery of a convenience store in the 5000 block of Nauvoo Road in Warwick.

Police responded to the call around 11:30 p.m. Monday (September 29) where an unknown male entered the convenience store and produced what appeared to be a knife.  The male was then able to flee the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The male suspect, who remains at large, is described as being approximately 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches in height, regular build, wearing black shoes, black pants, a black hoodie, and having his face covered. The OPP West Region Canine Unit and the OPP West Region Identification Unit also attended the scene to assist in the investigation. There were no reported injuries during the robbery.
