Pathways organizing early August ARTZscape by the Bay event

artzscape_bannerA two-day juried art exhibition and sale is heading to Centennial Park this summer and organizers have issued their "call for entry" to artists interested in participating.

ARTZscape by the Bay will be held Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4, with proceeds going to benefit programs of Pathways Health Centre for Children.

Organizers are expecting more than 100 artisans, both emerging and established, to be selected from all over southwestern Ontario.

All artists in the visual arts field are invited to apply to participate in the exhibition and sale.

The "Call for Entry" is going out in three categories: Local artists, Out-of-town artists, and "Notice of Interest" where artists can notify, in advance of applying, their interest in participating and placement on a "pending" list.

The show is expected to put a special focus on the "younger generations" of artists, providing a venue for their work.

Among the special features of ARTZscape will be a chalkboard and graffiti art contest, a kids art show and sale, a large eating pavilion and live entertainment.
