Photo book project from Chamber of Commerce provides last-minute gift idea

'Discoveries that Matter: Simply Sensational' includes foreword by Sarnia native astronaut Chris Hadfield

Last-minute gift givers have another option to consider when looking for a unique opportunity to showcase the Sarnia-Lambton area.

That comes in the form of a high-quality photo book that was commissioned by the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce and which is available at the Book Keeper in Northgate West plaza and at the Chamber’s offices at 556 Christina St. North.

The production, which features a foreword written by famed Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield, who was born in Lambton County, began with a proposal by Richard Bain, an accomplished photographer who is based in London but who spent considerable time in the area, researching and photographing his subjects. Bain has undertaken several similar projects over the years for other Chambers of Commerce and municipalities, all to rave reviews.

Various organizations and companies, including Lambton Shield Publishing, contributed to the initial costs involved in creating “Discoveries that Matter: Simply Sensational.”

Now that the production is complete, sales of the book are in full swing—just in time for Christmas gift giving.

Visit the Book Keeper for details and get ready to enjoy the smiles on the recipients of this unique gift.
