Plympton-Wyoming council backs Sarnia to save jail

The Township of Plympton-Wyoming is the latest group to support the City of Sarnia in its bid to reverse the planned closure of the Sarnia jail.
Township council passed the resolution at its meeting this week in Reece's Corners.
In late March, the provincial government announced it would close the Sarnia jail in the next two years, transporting local inmates to a new so-called Superjail to be built in Windsor by 2013.
