Point Edward Ex-servicemen (and friends) will be riding for Hospice this Saturday

motorcycle riderSt. Joseph’s Hospice Sarnia-Lambton will benefit from the inaugural annual motorcycle ride that the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Association will be holding tomorrow (Saturday, August 16).

The ride will feature a picturesque independent route through Lambton County to Grand Bend.

The return group ride will depart from Grog’s south of Grand Bend (Northville), returning to the Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Association where food and fellowship will be provided for all riders and passengers.

Entry fee for the event is $20 per bike (no fee for passengers) and registration on event day is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Riders are free to depart independently after they register.

Tax receipts are available for entrance fee and donations (all proceeds go to St. Joseph’s Hospice).

St. Joseph’s Hospice has been serving the community as a resource centre for the terminally ill since 2005, also providing support programs for those caring for or grieving the loss of a loved one.

The Point Edward Ex-Servicemen’s Association has been supporting charitable community and social causes in Point Edward and Lambton County since 1926.
