Police say cold weather cause of death for 18-year-old man found on CN property

Sarnia Police are now saying the death of an 18-year-old Sarnia man, found Tuesday Feb. 19 on CN Rail property near the U.S. Canada tunnel, was due to the deceased, Damien Walls, not being properly dressed for cold weather.

The victim, whom police identified after notification of his next of kin, had been attending a house party at which alcohol was consumed.

The direct cause of death is suspected to be hypothermia.
