Poremski, Richard Adam, (March 28, 2016)

Richard Adam Poremski, 72, of Petrolia, ON died at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on March 28, 2016 after a brief illness. Richard was born in Milford, Massachusetts in September of 1943 to the late Frederick and Eugenia Poremski. He grew up in Franklin, MA and graduated from Franklin High School in 1961. He studied at Lowell Technical Institute and the University of Arizona. He moved to Canada in 1968 where he continued to live until the time of his death. Richard is survived by his two sisters, Elaine Hassler and her husband, Frank; and Wanda Yadisernia and her husband, William, all residing in Massachusetts. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial gathering will be held by his family in Massachusetts at a later date. Most importantly, he is survived by Rebecca Martin, Tony Martin, Derek and Ula Martin, Breslin Martin and Kathy Rozman all of Petrolia, who have been his long-time close friends, and were by his side in his final days.
