Mary-Ramsay-1464091663Mary Louisa Ramsay of Trillium Villa, Sarnia, formerly of Wanstead, Ontario passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at the age of 92.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Burton Morley Ramsay (1999). Dear mother of the late Evelyn (2013) and Eugene Arnold of Wyoming, Ken and Sharon Ramsay of Thunder Bay, Patricia Hume (the late Robert Hume (2009)) of Watford, Don and Vanessa Ramsay of Wanstead, Heather and Bob Shelter of Auborn, Robert and Lee Ramsay of Richmond Hill, Dennis and Laurie Ramsay of Wanstead, Rosanne and John Simonton of Merlin and Karen Ramsay of Watford.
Mary was a loving grandmother of 18 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by grandson Christopher Ramsay (1995) and great-grandson Joseph Van Bilsen (2001)
She is also survived by her sister Helen Telfer of Ilderton, her brothers Harold (Doreen) Smith of Mt. Brydges and Donald (Lorene) Smith of Lambeth and sister-in-law Adele Wilkins of Forest. She was a member of Lambton County Developmental Services, working at the “Sunshine” school when it first started, and the Plympton Wyoming Fair Board and Wyoming United Church. Pallbears are grandsons Andrew Ramsay, Jim Hume, David Hume, Mathew Shetler, Jeremy Ramsay, Kirk Ramsay, and Zachery Simonton and granddaughter Kari’s husband Kevin Lupton. Flower Bearers are granddaughters Tina Simonton and Julia Lupton. Family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 pm and from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, May 25th at the Wyoming Chapel, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming, ON where a service will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment in Wyoming Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Lambton County Developmental Services, Wyoming United Church or a Charity of your choice.
